Ok, can we just talk about The Holy Grind in Kannapolis for a quick sec?

I asked my Instagram followers for a local coffee shop that serves cold foam. I’m not exactly a coffee connoisseur—don’t get me wrong, I drink it daily—but I usually keep it simple. Then someone recommended The Holy Grind, and wow… they nailed it.

I’ve been trying to replicate a drink from that “S place” (you know the one ☕) because I’d rather support our small business community. Not every local shop offers cold foam, but The Holy Grind absolutely does—and they take it seriously.

When I walked in, I planned to grab a drink and go. But the atmosphere? So warm and welcoming that I immediately went back to my car to grab my workbag. The staff couldn’t have been kinder. One gentleman listened to my cold-foam obsession with patience, and a barista turned it into a full-on mission to recreate my favorite drink. She explained the ingredients, made suggestions, and even told me exactly what to say when I come back next time.

From the atmosphere, to the staff, to the product—10/10. And bonus: they have locations in Kannapolis, Concord, and China Grove.
